SGCBL News: Draft Pool Revealed

Monday, May 16th, 2022: One of the few things certain about the 2022 first-year player draft is that it will be held 30 days from now. Today the SGCBL announced its list of players filing for the event, though little is publicly known about any given player, sending scouts from each of the league's clubs scattering to uncover what they can in as little time as possible. Some clubs will draft the ideal prospect late, while others will stake their futures to big-name prospects, those deemed most likely to succeed by the fickle, nameless consensus.

The top players available (in no particular order) seem to be:
1. Ako Smaudoc, 18 year-old second baseman out of high-school.
2. Vruuhai Girk, 18 year-old starting pitcher out of high-school.
3. Wayne Hawks, 22 year-old left fielder out of college.
4. Robert Brownlock, 21 year-old center fielder out of college.
5. Dejaia Fawyn, 19 year-old right fielder out of high-school.
6. Vrsal Hinak, 19 year-old catcher out of high-school.
7. Ediberto Whistler, 19 year-old starting pitcher out of high-school.
8. Faraind Elreoborn, 20 year-old third baseman out of college.
9. Fesil Stonethrottler, 19 year-old catcher out of high-school.
10. Gaman Lómebrin, 22 year-old left fielder out of college.
