Week's Premier Player: Dead Marshes's Gamgee

Monday, May 9th, 2022: In the twilight of her career, 36-year-old Petunia Gamgee of Dead Marshes recaptured some of the old magic last week and came away with the Mordor Conference Player of the Week Award.

"I've been playing since I was a kid," Gamgee told reporters, "but you're never too old to feel the thrill of success."

Gamgee outpaced the rest of the league's hitters last week, reeling off 9 hits in 17 at-bats, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs to stake her claim to the award.

Currently Gamgee is batting .316 with 31 hits and 9 home runs. She has knocked in 22 runs and scored 21 times.
