Royals Goldcutter Suffers Injury

Sunday, April 24th, 2022: The Rivendell Royals were dealt a severe blow when Hofur Goldcutter was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Bree Cheese. After the game, the team trainer reported Goldcutter might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 37-year-old reliever out for the rest of the season with shoulder inflammation. They indicated it would take Goldcutter at least 7 months to heal.

This season he has made 8 relief appearances, collecting no saves. Goldcutter has worked 12.2 innings, yielding 11 hits and giving out 3 free passes while striking out 7. He has a 1-0 record with a 0.71 ERA.
