Elrond Managers Named

League officials today announced the winners of this year's Elrond Manager of the Year awards in both Conferences.

For the Shire, Lake Town's skipper, Papa Bear, took home the trophy for guiding the Archers to a 97-66 record, improving over last year's performance by a whopping 37 games, and putting his team into the playoffs for the first time since 2012. Other top contenders included Bucklebury's Lord Xade and Minas Ithil manager, Lord Khrog.

Mordor's top skipper was Knuckleball Lover of Minas Morgul. The Slayers went from 4 straight seasons of last place finishes to take the Wild Card this year and make the playoffs. Their record of 91-71 was 19 games better than last year. Dead Marshes' manager, Lord Loki, and Grey Havens' Grizzly Bear were also in the running.
