Isengard Loses Inigo Montoya

Thursday, October 21st, 2021: Isengard fans will be disappointed to learn that Inigo Montoya suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in today's game. After the doctor informed the Isengard Raiders manager that Montoya was expected to miss 12 months, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the starting pitcher could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper.

This year Montoya has posted a record of 10 wins and 2 losses with a 3.56 ERA. He has appeared in 46 games and struck out 169 in 161.2 innings.
