No Recovery For Kings Gamama, Setback Forces Him Out

Saturday, September 11th, 2021: A tearful Randy Gamama stood with Numenor Kings officials and teammates as he announced that his baseball career was over. The 24-year-old left fielder was recovering from a ruptured finger tendon, but the injury recently became worse and doctors recommended that he retire from the game. "It's really hard to leave because I love to play baseball," Gamama explained to reporters. "I'll miss playing baseball and living out my childhood dream, but I'll always cherish the memories I have. Despite this bad break, life has been good to me."

Gamama is swinging at a .318 pace on the year with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has played in 33 games.
