SC's #1 Batter Chosen

Wednesday, September 1st, 2021: When Gorbadoc Bracegirdle stepped up to the plate in August, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Shire Conference Batter of the Month award.

The young Bucklebury designated hitter posted a .343 batting average with 9 home runs, 39 RBIs and scored 22 runs. Bracegirdle also worked pitchers for 22 walks to post a .448 on-base percentage.

So far this season Bracegirdle has 35 home runs and a .320 batting average.
