Gilmathien Wins SC Player of the Week

Monday, August 30th, 2021: So far in her young career, Floria Gilmathien has kept a low profile, but after her performance at the plate last week, she attracted the notice of the rest of the Shire Conference in a big way as she was named the Player of the Week today for her efforts.

The 24-year-old Carrock Bears first baseman hit at a torrid .542 clip as she collected 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

This year Gilmathien is hitting .326 with 24 home runs and 132 RBIs to her credit. She has gotten on base at a .387 clip and scored 85 runs.
