Merry Fellows Cele "Trapper" Lumsden Wins SC Award

Monday, August 23rd, 2021: So far in his young career, Cele Lumsden has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Shire Conference in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.

The 22-year-old Old Forest Merry Fellows right fielder hit at a torrid .455 clip as he collected 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 6 home runs, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored.

For the year Lumsden is batting .271 with 11 home runs.
