2000 Hits for Ruano

Thursday, July 29th, 2021: With one swing of the bat, Boris Ruano put his name in the league record books yesterday at Amon Sul Stadium. It was his 2000th career hit, putting him in a select group of players.

In spite of Boris Ruano's achievement, his Numenor Kings went down to defeat to the Weathertop Witch Kings, 2-1.

On his milestone day, the 36-year-old center fielder registered 1 hit in 4 at-bats.

Lifetime Ruano is hitting .274 with 2000 hits, 449 home runs, 1155 runs scored and 1399 RBIs.
