Rivendell, Veteran Kei Sign Deal

Wednesday, July 21st, 2021: Royals fans were divided today as Rivendell confirmed that the front office has signed Rentarou Kei to a 3-year extension at a rate of $4,720,000 per year.

While many were enthusiastically behind the signing, others worried about Kei's age.

So far this season Kei is hitting .319 with 4 home runs, 38 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has 74 hits in 232 at-bats and a .386 OBP.
