Raiders Reliever Gorind Hurt

Monday, June 14th, 2021: The Isengard Raiders were dealt a severe blow when Kings Gorind was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Moria Miners. After the game, the team trainer reported Gorind might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 22-year-old reliever out for the rest of the season with ulnar nerve irritation. They indicated it would take Gorind at least 4 months to heal.

For the season Gorind has no saves, tossed 52.1 innings, fanned 28 batters and produced an ERA of 1.38. He has also been credited with 4 wins and 1 loss.
