Elfplate Signs for 2 years

Thursday, June 10th, 2021: Happy times in Rivendell as the Royals and star starting pitcher Mundin Elfplate put the finishing touches on a $20,200,000 contract extension that will keep the 38-year-old in town 2 years longer.

The signing is great news for Rivendell because players of this caliber are hard to come by.

To date Elfplate is 4-9 in 15 starts with a 4.76 ERA and has 71 strikeouts in 92.2 innings.
