Bounders Grilgol Nails Down 300-th Save

Tuesday, June 9th, 2020: After the game the Bywater Bounders outstanding reliever Haleodur Grilgol celebrated his 300th-career save by reminiscing about his first save. "I remember it clearly. I was a rookie and the last one standing in the bullpen in an extra-inning game. Our staff was worn to a frazzle and was desperate for a pitcher. So they put me in. I faced four batters, rung up the victory and took the first step toward 300 saves."

The 36-year-old Grilgol got number 300 by preserving the Bounders 3-1 win over the Dol Guldur Dragons.

Grilgol has 300 saves over his career with a 44-42 record and a 2.89 ERA.
