Earilmarion Suffers Career-Ending Injury
It was a somber day at Khazad-dum Stadium today as Gomsh Earilmarion was seriously injured colliding with a player at a base in a game against the Moria Miners. He was taken off the field on a stretcher and straight into an ambulance, where the diagnosis was made en route to the hospital. That diagnosis: post-concussion syndrome. This injury will put an end to the Bucklebury shortstop's career. A Fairies spokesman told the press, "It's a tough blow for us, a tough blow for the Earilmarion family, and a tough blow for baseball."
