SC Trophy Goes to Shute of Rivendell

At the age of 31, Dean Shute might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Rivendell first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days collecting the Shire Conference Player of the Week Award.

He racked up 10 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 7 games.

Shute is currently hitting at a .225 pace with 23 home runs, 64 RBIs and has scored 49 times.
