Legàl Blisters Dead Marshes

Tina Legàl really did a number on the Uruk-hai in the Isengard 18-4 victory. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 5 at-bats. But Tina Legàl did just that today for the Raiders and gave her batting average a healthy boost and sparked her club in the win.

"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 35-year-old second baseman said after her record-setting performance.

T. Legàl doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off T. Tunnelsmith in the 8th.

This season Legàl is swinging the bat at a .284 rate with 63 hits in 222 at-bats. To date she has hit 3 home runs, scored 37 runs and driven in 36.
