Panda and Harshbeard named Elrond Managers

Both the Rivendell Royals and the Numenor Kings had big turnarounds this year, thanks in great part to their managers. Both the Royals' Panda and the Kings' Harshbeard were recognized with their respective conference's Elrond Manager of the Year award.

Panda, who took over the Rivendell team at the end of last season, managed to wheel and deal his way into the Return of the King Series after finishing last in 2017. The Royals won the Elf Division pennant for just the 4th time in team history and went on to win their first Fellowship Series and their first Shire Conference Championship.

Harshbeard brought home a Goblin Division pennant to Numenor for the first time since 2009, the heyday of the Kings franchise. Under his leadership, Numenor won 16 more games this year than in 2017. Only Rivendell and Grey Havens with 24 game margins had bigger improvements.
