Dol Guldur wins series
The defending Mordor Conference champion Dragons will get a shot at keeping their title, as Dol Guldur defeated Numenor in 5 games in the Fellowship Series.
The Kings didn't make it easy on them.
In Game 1, a fine pitching performance by Dol Guldur's Tubur Trollsnapper and a homer by Herman *Slobberknocker gave the Dragons the 2-1 victory.
Game 2 saw Fareand Elraralindë 1-hit Numenor through 8.1 innings to outduel Daniel Gallop, 1-0.
Lerin Iceywater shut down Numenor, 7-0, in Game 3.
In Game 4, the Kings sent veteran Tharon Smaman to the mound, and he came up with a big performance, allowing just 2 runs on 5 hits to avoid the sweep.
Finally, in Game 5, the two teams tangled until the 13th inning when Pruudak Starslobberer singled up the middle to score Gord the Good and break the 4-4 tie.
