Royals advance to next round

The Rivendell Royals are headed to their first Shire Conference Championships after besting the Miners in 5 games.

After getting shut out by Moria's Quinn Ladygrass in Game 1, Rivendell stepped up to win the next 4 games. A big part of that due to the efforts of Denaumir Deneadur, who won 2 of the 4 games.

The 37-year-old Deneadur is no stranger to the playoff spotlight. He first came to fame as a 23-year-old rookie with Mirkwood when he went 19-9 and helped the Marauders win the first of their 3-straight league championship trophies. In 2006, he struck out 20 batters in a Return of the King Series game against Rohan...a record that still stands for not just the playoffs but for any game. He also was with the Minas Morgul Slayers in their postseason appearances from 2013-2016.
