Morales sets new record for victories

Isengard hurler Renato Morales won't likely forget this day, as he tossed his 27th win of the season for the Raiders and set a new league record.

Morales, 32, pitched just 5.1 innings in the 9-0 triumph over the Ravenhill Darkwings, but he struck out 10 and scattered 5 hits and 2 walks without allowing a run before handing the ball off to the bullpen. Even the opposing fans in The Ballpark at Helms Deep could appreciate his achievement, and they gave him a standing ovation as he left the field.

"He's a machine," his skipper said. "I just hand him the ball every 5 days, and he gets it done."

This year Morales is 27-2 with a 2.81 ERA. He has struck out 162 while walking 58.
