Star MR Signs Extension with Rivendell

Team officials triumphantly announced that the Royals and superstar reliever Minahiko Yachi have closed a deal that keeps the 32-year-old in a Rivendell uniform for another 3 years.

Yachi will earn $20,830,000 as part of the settlement.

This season Yachi has made 27 relief appearances and has 3 saves. His record is 4-1 with 24 strikeouts in 32.2 innings with a 4.13 ERA.
