Archers Chill Badgermangler's Hot Streak

Gorilf Badgermangler's 22-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped June 16 in the Fairies 9-7 setback to the Archers. Badgermangler went without a hit in 5 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it.

"I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Badgermangler said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight."

For 2018 Badgermangler is batting .319 with 16 home runs, 62 RBIs and 39 runs scored.
