Shire Conference Announces #1 Player

One of the league's most exciting young players, Gorilf Badgermangler of the Bucklebury Fairies earned himself Shire Conference Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games.

For the week the 25-year-old third baseman had a lofty .600 average (15-25), collecting 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

In 57 games this season Badgermangler has compiled a .311 batting average with 71 hits and 12 home runs. He has also scored 29 times and knocked in 52 runs.
