Husband and Grilgol Named Gwaihir Relievers

Ronald Husband of the Dol Guldur Dragons and Haleodur Grilgol were officially named the Mordor and Shire Conference Gwaihir Relievers of the Year today. A press release from league headquarters confirmed the numbers and made it official.

Husband, 30, wins the award for the 2nd time in his career, the last time being in 2014 when he was with Weathertop. Husband's campaign included an 8-5 record with a career-high 45 saves and a 2.66 ERA. He blew just 7 chances this year, striking out 95 in 84.2 innings.

It's the second win for Grilgol as well. The 33-year-old veteran posted a 4-3 record with 41 saves and a career-best 2.10 ERA.
