Potent Bat Pays Off, *Squishmasher Player of the Week

Rivendell Royals shortstop Loopy *Squishmasher, at the top of his game all last week, was a consensus choice today for Shire Conference Player of the Week.

He victimized opposing pitchers for a .500 batting average on 10 hits in 20 at-bats, piling up 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 8 runs scored.

This year *Squishmasher has hit at a .338 clip with 119 hits, 20 home runs, 74 RBIs, 56 walks, a .425 on-base percentage and 73 runs scored.
