Shire Conference Picks July's Best Batter

When guys like Rivendell's Loopy *Squishmasher win Batter of the Month awards, it just makes you feel good. In a very productive July, the longtime Shire Conference veteran toyed with opposing pitchers all month long, collecting 39 hits in 97 at-bats.

In 24 games the veteran third baseman hit for a .402 batting average and collected 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and 21 runs scored.

This season *Squishmasher is swinging the bat at a .333 rate with 135 hits in 405 at-bats. To date he has hit 16 home runs, scored 69 runs and driven in 69.
