Scarlett *II quiets Bywater bats with shutout

BYWATER - Scarlett *II had her best stuff going, and Bywater hitters had nothing to cheer about. Bucklebury's right-hander pitched a 2-hitter on April 12, her 1st shutout of the season. Scarlett (1-1) struck out 5 and walked 4, throwing 70 of 125 pitches for strikes. 'I really like to play baseball, and I love the way I was able to play it today.' Roberto Arostegui provided Bucklebury with the offense Bucklebury needed as he finished 3 for 5, scoring twice. Bucklebury improved its record to 6-5, scoring 4 runs on 9 hits.
