Frodo Rookie Award winners

Scarlett II was named the Shire Conference Frodo Rookie Award winner today. Bucklebury's pitcher put up pretty good numbers for a rookie this year. This 24 year old kid will probably have a long and successful career! This season Scarlett compiled an ERA of 3.80, going 17-13 in 34 starts. She fanned 177 while giving up 218 hits in 237 innings. She's 9th in the Shire Conference in wins! The Mordor Conference Frodo Rookie Award winner was announced today as well, with Numenor's catcher Thigol Thiama earning the trophy for putting up the best numbers among rookies in his league. Thigol is hitting .263 this year, with 140 hits in 532 at bats. He has driven in 92 runs, slugging .462.
