Cheese defeat Royals in Game 7
BREE - After the Rivendell Royals beat Bree in a tight Game 6, the Cheese came back behind their ace pitcher, Gogak Drowslammer, to handily win Game 7 of the Fellowship Series, 7-3. In Game 6, the two teams were tied 3-3 going into the 7th inning when Royal first baseman, Grilob Goraman, sent a 2-run shot down the right field line. The Cheese could only manage one run in the bottom of the 7th, making the score 5-4 and sending the series to Game 7. In Game 7, Drowslammer held Rivendell scoreless for 8 innings, while the Cheese hitters scored 7 runs. Bree goes on to meet Bucklebury in the Two Towers Series.

Bucklebury completes dismantling of Wilderland
WILDERLAND - After coming back from a 2-game sweep in Wilderland with a 3-game homestand of their own, Bucklebury finished off last year's League Champion in Game 6 of their series--a 15-inning nail biter. The Wargs jumped out to an early lead in the 1st, scoring 2 runs, but an injury to right fielder Risil Shieldbender dampened their excitement. The Fairies countered with 2 of their own in the 3rd, including a solo homer to deep left-center by Lugnar Orcback. With Bucklebury leading in the 7th, Wilderland tied the score 4-4 with a homer from Loinar Oathsmelter. From there until the top of the 15th, the bullpens held each other in check. In the top of the 9th, Orcback tried to score from second on a single by Kobur Hammermaker but was thrown out at the plate by Wilderland's Isilborn Imrilron. In the 13th, Orcback tripled with 2 outs but was left stranded at third. Finally, in the 15th, Orcback sent a fly ball to right-center deep enough to score Arweand Belámir from third. The Fairies go on to the Two Towers Series to face the Bree Cheese.

Dagorlad Outslugs Rohan
ROHAN - The ride of the horsemen came to an end in Game 6 of their series with Dagorlad. Two teams with new owners for 2004, both of them sought to advance into the Two Towers Series for the first time. The Disaster outscored the RoughRiders in another game that saw plenty of hitting. This time, though, Rohan was limited to the 2 runs scored off Rafur Rockback's homer in the 4th inning. The hero for Dagorlad was second baseman Doignar Axesnapper who went 4-for-5, scoring 3 times and collecting 4 RBI, including a 3-run homer. The Disaster go on to face the Numenor Kings in the Mordor Conference Two Towers Championship Series.
